What this does
Loading an announcement or a completed or failed avatar result marks that item as read.
How to use it
Open the announcement, avatar result or chat history. No extra action is needed. In chats, messages up to the newest message you load count as read. Loading an older page leaves newer unread messages untouched.
Common questions
Background recovery also marks loaded content as read and may cancel chat alerts that have not yet been sent. Avatars still being generated keep their future result unread. Inbox notifications are handled individually; opening a character or comment page does not clear your inbox. If loading fails, try again later.
