- What is AI roleplay chat?
- An AI plays a character with a defined personality and backstory, and the two of you move a story forward in text. You describe scenes and actions, and the character responds based on who they are and what has already happened.
- What makes a good AI roleplay app?
- Three things: the character remembers earlier events, keeps a consistent voice without breaking character, and has a story to move toward. Hanakoi has three memory layers, and creators can give each relationship stage its own way of speaking.
- How do I write a good roleplay opener?
- Give the character a concrete scene and an open question, such as arriving at his studio on a rainy night with a recording no one can make out. A scene with a goal gets a story moving faster than a simple hello.
- What are story chapters on Hanakoi?
- Some characters have story chapters written by their creators. You unlock them by meeting the chapter’s conditions, and each chapter opens a new scene. Outside chapters, you can keep building the story freely in everyday chat.
- Can I create my own roleplay character?
- Yes. Answer a few questions in the Studio to generate a full character, or create and manage characters through MCP in AI tools such as Claude. The Learn center has guides to character creation and story writing.
